1991 Ford Explorer Sport 4x4 - michigan
selling my explorer:
1991 Ford Explorer Sport 2dr
4x4
4.0L V6 auto
180k miles
pw windows,pw locks,cruise,tilt,a/c
replaced: wires, plugs, fuel pump/sending unit, fuel filter, air filter, wipers, pass. head and gaskets, rear axle seal and fluid, rear drums, front rotors and pads, front ujoints by tires(the hard ones to replace), transmission rebuilt 5k miles ago, new front window.
mods: autostart system with remote entry, brand new JVC KD-G420 cd player(installed by best buy), clear turn signals, new dynomax catback exhaust, offroad lights on the bumper, silverstar headlights, good 30x9.5 tires with lots of thread left, magnaflow cats section(not installed yet), kicker 10" sub assembly(may throw in with truck if offer is good enough).
good: truck runs and drives great!! the motor idles nice and smooth, transmission shifts and works great, has decent power, plenty of offroad capability. autohubs work great as well as 4x4 works flawlessly. a/c works amazing as well as heat. does not overheat or anything. has been in family since 1998 and well taken care of. regular oil changes. no body damage other than rust spots. interior is clean, non smoker.
bad: the front ujoint from the transfer case to the front differential is going bad and making a noise. shouldnt cost much to replace as its only like 4 bolts to remove the shaft and then just take it to have the ujoint replaced. cat shield rattles hense why i bought the magnaflow replacement cats but havent installed it yet. front brakes arent perfect since i used cheap rotors and pads so they may squeek and pulsate a bit but would probably still last a long time since there new. other than that it has rust spots and below the doors its rusted out on the rocker panels.
no surprises here im telling you everything about the vehicle that i can possibly think of. only selling cuz i have 4 cars and dont need this one anymore.
