30 min drive down by the strip one way every morning. Not so bad unless there are a bunch of cops on the freeways. Then all the dumb *** people slam on there brakes when they see a cop and cause some nice traffic jams.

 

I dont even know if I could get used to getting up at 5 every morning let alone out the door by then!

 

I get up at 610-620 and usually out the door by 640-650, work starts at 700 for me.

 

you dont give yourself to much time in the morning!
I drag *** in the morning haha so I need at minimum an hour to pack my lunch and make breakfast etc etc

 

After a while you get a system. I'm showered, shaved, shat, breakfast in, lunch packed, coffee made and out the door in 25min everyday. You just become a robot at 5am and do the process.

 

I'm about 8mins away and I wake up at 4:25 out the door no later than 4:48 pullin it to work at 4:56. Any hiccups and I'm late, I just keep my fingers crossed haven't been late yet

 

Well I made it today. It took me about 35 minutes this morning with stopping for coffee. Home was a different story. Normally I hit the gym after work but today being the first day I wanted to try get home and it took me probly close to 45 minutes to get home but if I hadve gone to the gym I wouldve been there in about 15 minutes which is great.
I kinda wish I didn't show up though haha normally a place kinda starts you off with a slack first day...nope. LLY duramax head gaskets....so much fun

thats how it looks however no, it actually originally came in for a trans complaint and I made the stupid mistake of mentioning that they were leaking who knew he'd have like $4,000 just kicking around haha

 

Some days I drive 20-25mi round trip, or like today... I put 450mi on my F450... Like Tyler said. Oilfield.... You never really know where you're going to end up from one day to the next. I maintain equipment in the field and take call-outs, so I have the potential to be anywhere, any day.
