This mornings outside temp at my house, 1 Degree with a -19 degree windchill.

And yes the snow did make a creeeeking sound when I drove over it, made me laugh thinking about how it was mentioned on here.

 

O man, the stories are to funny. I don't how you guys do it. Here in the SF bay area (east about 25 miles), if we hit 32* at night, it's a major thing on the news "BE CAREFUL, IT'S GOING TO GET REAL COLD AROUND HERE". It was a balmy 60* and raining today, to muggy actually. Normal is about high's in the 50's and lows in the mid 30's for winters.

Ya, it sucks here in the cold, but lucky for me I'm coming down your way in a week or two!

 

Um.. Ive seen snow... Twice now!!! I had to drive for two hours to see it though..

 

From my experience about a week ago...

You know its cold when...

You are trying to defrost your windshield and you turn on your wipers and they get ripped off the blade.

 

You can tape off your entire grille and still not overheat
your rear view mirror says "-13*F"

I stopped leaning on the door and started leaning on the center console.

 

Ha, I just found out the other day that the Gentek rearview that I installed flashes the word "ICE", it did it right after I first started up the other day and it was in the 20's...never saw that before (I just installed it last spring). I guess it's a function that you have when you first start it up and it's below 32*...or it means that the sensor is iced...have to find and read the manual.

 

You decide to move down here? Or just visiting?

 

I'm coming down for 3-4 months or so to flip some houses with a buddy. I think I'm going to be staying with him, depending on how much him and his old lady still fight . Would still like to hook up with you guys. I'd like to check out your radix, I might be putting one on another buddy 05 SSR down there.
