what sad is your probably right..... whats even worse is he probably believes you should run walnut shells thru them too...


i remember some kid posting on a honda forum a long time ago to put a brick on the pedal so you are hitting redline... then dump a bag of crushed walnut shells into the throttle body and it would effectively clean out all carbon and make the engine run better....

i guess they forgot to mention it will make the cylinders look like chris's too sorry buddy i had to


i can only hope they all tried it

Walnuts actually work really well for cleaning turbo's...just don't dump them through the engine. That's how we clean the soot of the turbo's of the slow speed diesels.

yeah but i thought it was funny that anyone would think of just setting a brick on the pedal and letting it run at redline... which is great on the valvetrain, along with the rest of the motor...

then to add insult to injury lets dump heavy abrasives into it....

I think they shoulda dropped nuts and washer in it to get it ported out quickly and smoothly! At least that's what I would do if I was a Honda tech.
