I haven't saved any pictures to post on here, but has everyone/anyone seen the new 2012 Model Silverado 1500's? It seems they've done a little facelift on the front. Gone is the front bumper with the painted to match endcaps, now the endcaps are Chrome like the 2500/3500's and the textured black center piece is either a light gray or almost painted silver to almost match the chrome. Also the mesh insert in the grille is chrome and not black.

Was hoping to buy a new truck in 2012, guess this just sealed the deal that I will be going GMC.

I don't think it looks that bad, only subtle changes from what I can tell (though the wheels on the red HD Silvy in the article have to go).

I'm sorry but this is hideous. At first I thought it was some sort of special chrome package, but searching online at Chevy dealer websites they are starting to get the 2012 models in and all of them had this front end.

 

yea i saw some at the dealer.. looks cheap... imo.

 

Haven't seen any in person yet Javi, but damn. I was going to go GMC for my next one anyways, but still.

 

Ill stick to old used trucks haha. Not to mention new truck insurance is insane.
