haters... all ive gathered is: SS are a waste of money there heavy, cant go fast, riced out bodykits, and theres only a few that look good.

now im forced to sell mine and buy a rcsb so i am accepted into the "coolness"






lol jk. its your choice. theres nothing special about your truck itself that makes it fast, its your setup. so put that set up in a 2wd SS with some weight reduction and have the best of both worlds

 

point is all the ss is is a lq9 and a body kit. if they were factory turbo'd or SC'd it'd be different

 

I would for an Intimidator SS.

Having an SS I really enjoy mine. But after owning for the last 5 years I would have gone back and gotten a full four door Z71. But I got such a deal on mine I couldn't pass on it back in 2005 I paid $24,000 out the door for a loaded Silverado SS with 9,000 miles.

 

Same here, I got a great deal on it, plus I think they look simply badass. Personally, I wish it came with the Autotrac option, I am going out of my mind not being able to light the rear tires...on the other hand, AWD launches are insane. It is a good fun and semi practical truck. I do agree with the full four door cab though, that back seat is fargin tiny. Then you through a heads cam package on it, and there arent many trucks that can compete, or at least they don't even try.
