Hell ya It is shitty that this is even a thought, or brought up. But I find it all most stupid for them to think of such a thing. i doubt that this will ever come around. It will start a war if it does. Punk as gov't, do gooding green people..

This will never happen. I have seen this crap come up more than once. Every once and a while some new government dick head comes up with this idea like he just invented the lightbulb like its some new invention. So he can feel important when know one else really gives a crap.

Years ago when government put pressure on ins companies to get rid of the muscle car era of the late 60's and early 70's, it seemed to give the impression that one day we would all drive smart cars or something. Back then if you had 400HP you ruled the street. Looked what happened guys from that era said **** off and created aftermarket performance companies and now we have 6=7=800HP street machine out there.

Ya it sells news papers and auto mags, but it will never happen, the entire world economy would collapse. Everything Automotive - its the biggest economic job creator we have.

 

just think of all the fun and what the car community would become if it did become illegal

new ways to go fast
everyone in the car world will become like family even more
illegal (sometimes this makes for fun)
