Thought you guys might like to check out the new ride we picked up last weekend. 2011 Chevy Traverse with 2LT package. Remote start, Navigation, DVD system, backup camera, etc. Pretty nice setup, my 2yr old loves the rear DVD system with wireless headphones. We originally went shopping with all intentions on buying a Tahoe or Yukon, but after test driving them I felt the 5.3L was really underpowered in those for some reason and my wife hated them saying she felt like she was driving a school bus. Then we spotted the Traverse in the lot. She liked them immediately. Me not so much but its growing on me i guess. The ride REALLY nice and the power seems adequate. Deffnitely more get-up-and-go then the Tahoe's have out of this V6. The interiors have more room too.

They are nice for sure. My mom got a acadia last year and me and my wife like it more than they do. They just had to take it in the shop last month for a bad coil and plug wire. It gets better gas mileage than my dad's tahoe but i think his tahoe runs better.

My wife wanted one of those too but my stipulation was that I had to tow a certain amount with whatever we got, so we looked at Tahoes and they're so overpriced it's ridiculous since every soccer mom on earth has to have one.... So we just got a crew cab truck.... And I'm glad we did.
