about getting rid on the regular cab truck for an ext. or crew cab. So how bad is it that when looking at a new and used trucks (08/09) that I am also looking for a 6.2l to swap in it?

SDPC sells brand new 6.2l for 6kish. GM is offering 4k rebates, sell the new 4.8/5.3 for 500-800 and it only be a $1500 upgrade (+ labor and tuning).
