Why did you choose a truck for performance?

I bought my truck new and did a lift with 7000km on it, things just went to **** after that.
cops kept busting me for being to big so I lowered it to what it is now and decided to add power, well things went even more to ****.
but I still use it as a truck and haul gravel etc.... with it all the time in summer, clean it up and go and hurt people with light cars feelings all the time.
they never expect such a large truck to lay a beating on them cause gas trucks are slow.

Mine started with my dad being a truck guy, he bought my 400ss stepside new in 2005 used it for 5 years and i always loved it, i would always watch videos on youtube of flaco, parish and some other trucks, there wasnt that much out there by then, then one day i came home and when i opened my garage my dads truck was parked in it all clean, i opened it and his his house keys wernt on the truck keys, there was only the truck key and the remote and he took all his stuff out of the truck, i then knew it was my truck now, he gave it to me, one of the best days in my life!!
Then this one day i found a badass truck video on youtube, there was a email and i emailed the guy asking what kinda mods he had on his truck, in his answer he said go to pt.net and well everything went downhill from there as some have mentioned already
Some days i feel like going with something lighter to be faster and easier on parts but when you kick a modded cars *** you kinda forget about ever wanna change to something lighter, dont get me wrong i love cars but i love beating them in a truck more
Then this one day i found a badass truck video on youtube, there was a email and i emailed the guy asking what kinda mods he had on his truck, in his answer he said go to pt.net and well everything went downhill from there as some have mentioned already

I wanted something more then just a stock truck with a "CAI" and a flowmaster. Went and found this forum and it snowballed from there. I'm on the hunt for an engine and eventually a tvs1900 or 2300.
