Cody, you will love the square toes. I just bought a pair for the upcoming wedding, I think they are Tony Lama's.

Other than that, I have a pair of Double H Ice Boots that I wear just about everyday, they are my catch-all duty boots, just as nice for going into town or wearing out in the pasture, my tony lama full quill ostrich crepe sole's, Luchese Horn Back Gators, and I think thats it. I've gotten rid of a lot of boots recently that I didn't wear anymore.

At one time I had about 10 pairs.

But I wanna get a pair of Twisted X boots in a square toe.

 

11ee. cant remember what color haha. i want to say brown. the inside of the boot says python, but i dont think its actually a python snake. i couldnt tell ya what kind of snake it is but ive had several ball pythons, burmese pythons and a african rock python and none of them had this pattern. ill get some pics tonight.

I used to have a pair of Irish Setters that were awesome; Red Wing/Irish Setter are made in China now but they're still made on American lasts so they fit the same but don't last as long.

I know; I was just saying I love boots. Some people I know don't consider boots dressy but I say **** 'em. My Noconas shine up better than dress shoes and look a Hell of a lot cooler.

I have two pair that I wear regularly. The first is brown lizard skin Dan Post boots that are old so I wear them to the bar, etc. The other is black snake skin Dan Post boots that I wear to a little nicer places but to the bar alot also.

I don't buy expensive boots anymore. Years ago, I had a real nice pair that I'd wear on the weekends. Got into a bad accident and the EMTs used surgical scissors to cut them off my feet. Wasn't too happy when I checked out of the hospital and they gave me back my sliced up belly ostrichs'. So nowadays all I have is a cheap pair of ropers for weddings & funerals.

I thought square toes were for "brokeback cowboys", if you know what I mean?

Nothing...it's an old joke. Something along the lines of being on your knees so much that the round toes have worn down to being square.

I have heard them called '*** kisser' boots too.
