that use to be a major problem around here... alot of guys from my area was stealin the 03-07(classic) taillights.. mainly because they wanted that style are wanted to tint them... i carved my initals in mine so if they ever got stole i could find them

 

yeah well it would be kind of hard to find them in a city of this size.

so i got new lights from certifit, but i had to get the third brake light from munday chevy. spent over 200 total

its bullshit that someone would do that just for some tinted taillights

if these go missing, im gonna go bezerk

A tailgate lock will be better than the jimmy jammer. It isnt full proof. installed them on my doors after the first time my truck was stolen. 4 months later got broken into again, They must have beat the **** outta my keyhole to knock the jimmy jammer outta place, but it worked and they got in.. it might work better for the tail lights but idk.. Just know if you own anything nice, It will never be safe with all the piece of **** thieves out there..

 

i use the trusty round hose clamp on my tailgate. it works and cheap.

 

Exactly why I plan on leaving my truck at home when I move to Denton for college.

 

well i just made my own tailgate lock. lol

took the bezel off and unhooked the bars.

kinda ghetto, but it'll work for now i suppose
