Who else builds a great 60e?

I know FLT and RPM makes the upgrades transmissions. Ive seen 3 broke PB lvl2 in the last 6 month. 1 is a close friend and member on here and 1 is a friend that lives close to me with 250-300 miles on it.
I know FLT builds them but they are costly
RPM transmissions are costly as hell too!
PBuilt was the only one i use to see holding some good power and not breaking back to back.
My WT 60e is starting to pause like something is worn out or on its way out. Im not going to be in the market for a while but i want to have a game plan for when it does go out. I will run a circle d 3200 (278mm) since its my DD/WT an a street toy if i feel the need to get in it

Ive honestly thought about a 80e swap with a mild shift kit simply for the ability to haul anything anytime i want but im thinking the 80e swap will kill me simply for the fact that it isnt a race truck nore is it boosted.
Tx Tahoe:
Does "Ace" have a website that i can look into?
Jg:
Isnt that who makes all the 80e and extremely costly?

Being that you have a blower on your truck i honestly think a 80e swap with a 3000 stall would work for you best!
I could go 80e and never look back for the simple fact of IF the truck ever became a FI toy i'd already be done with it but i dont plan on a toy for a long time so im not too sure an 80e swap would be the best idea at the moment

There is a local shop by me that build s some strong 60e trans. A majority of the people around the area run them and are holding up great, and VERY reasonably priced. You have seen the truck on here before, actually flaco posted a pic of it the other day. Its a blue nnbs rcsb with a 4xx stroker on n20. The owner of the trans shop owns that truck. It had his built 60e in it for a LONG time before switching to a 70e

I believe the fastest auto in the country is built by him, his transmissions seem to be competitively priced as well. Nothing to extreme price wise in comparison with other transmission builders.
As to answer your question about the costly 80e's I'm not certain on that.

If you decide to go with the 4l80e, I would buy one and get it overhauled along with the shift kit just for piece of mind. I love my 80e/circle d swap. The converter is a 258mm 2A 3200 triple disk.
