Ya I still have fun but it's a little more selective and seldom than in my younger years.

I could only imagine having the truck I have now when I was younger....

Not a drive thru granted, but when I lost D in tranny & maybe some more fwd gears in my 89 C1500 (it was 1 of 3 I blew up inside of a yr., 2 within 2 wks of ea. other), on the way to work at 4 A.M. I hadta call in. Threw it an reverse & backed up almost 2 miles. Til I crossed an intersection. A cop of a small town was at a light just set off from that insection. Guy in car next to him looked in disbelief at cop & cop did the same back.

Apparently, that's frowned upon.
Go figure.

He said he had to pull me over. I said, ya, but I had control of my vehicle. I never went over 25 MPH. He was really cool about it, altho never had seen anything like it on all his yrs. on the the force. And he'd been there 20 or 30 somethin yrs. I just like to set the bar high that way.

SO sorry, no drivethru story, but when u went backwards, I thought this was worth it to mention.
