From a former Marine I'd say stay for your 20, but if you want to get out but stay in aviation I'd say get your FAA Airframe & Powerplant license. I work 14 days then get 14 days off. It's like getting a vacation every month and like working 6 months out of the year and getting paid for a full year. Not a bad deal.
I worked on CH-46, CH-53 and UH-1N's back in the 70's.

Bus Boy, Bar Back at a resort resturant. I get 6.75 an hour + 50-90 bucks a night in tips. I'm 19 and plan on working behind the bar and becoming a bartended when I turn 21. I'm in the "**** what am I doing with my life?" stage.

I'm getting sick of the BS in the Nuclear electronics department, I'm not allowed to think on my own like I was in the non-nuclear electrical department. The paperwork sucks
