Default What year Denali??

What would you guys recommend? A classic 06 Sierra Denali or a newer 08+ model with the 6.2?? It will be a daily driver with possible boost down the road. I really like the classic interiors and the fact that they still have rear AC vents for the kids. Lets hear some suggestions.

I'd go for more power and the same if not better fuel mileage of the 6.2. Lets be honest the 6.0 is great but it's still a pig.

If your price range allows it, find a newer model. Both have pro's and con's but thats with any vehicle.

Yeah I agree with you. My thoughts were the 6.2 would be a lot more fun with basic bolt ons and a custom tune. Might be later to never before I get to add boost.

Yea stock v stock the newer truck is a lot faster. The 6 speed alone is a game changer.

Do the 6 speeds hold power as well as the 4l80e?

Nope.

But the older trucks come stock with the 65e, I swapped to an 80e. The 6 speed is stronger than the 65e.

Oh real good info. I had it in my head that the old ones had the 80e.
