looks nice. the windshield strip looks good on the new trucks IMO.

 

Thanks. I agree about the windshield. There was NO factory tint and I hated that. 6" is the legal limit in Kentucky, I had mine done 7". After driving it, I really think that 8" would have been even better.

 

I have 20% all the way around and a 5% eyebrow. I like them to all match but my last truck didn't and I know plenty of people who have them that don't match. That is up to you and it kind of depends on how easy the police are. If they don't care, they do what you want. If they are a pain about it then you might have to go lighter.

Def. 5% with the eyebrow though. I would say that is a must. Just my .02

 

looks nice. my tint is 3% all the way round except the windsheild and it keeps ALOT of the texas heat out. so far only 1 warning and 1 ticket in 4 years

 

Looks good. Mine are 5% out back and legal limit (35%) up front. Wish I would have gone 20% up front and 50% on the windshield. As is, the windshield is clear and gets hot as hell.

 

The guy that did mine would do complete windshields. He is the only shop that I know of around here that will. His '08 GMC CCSB has 35% on the windshield and 5% the on the rest. It looked awesome but I wouldn't want to drive it at night.

The 7" eyebrow of 5% on mine made driving in the sun a lot more pleasant. I wish I had him go 8" on it. 6" is all that's legal but the truck has such a big windshield that I don't think that 8" would have drawn any attention from LEO.

 

I think I could get away with 50% on the windshield if my sides were 20% and rears 3%, so the windshield wouldn't look nearly as dark.

 

I have 70% over the factory <70% or whatever it is windshield. It ends up around 50%. That, along with 15% sides and 4% rear (over factory tinted glass) on a regular cab. The windshield hasn't attracted attention so far. Looks good and isn't too dark. Whatever film the shop used has a slight blue hue though. Might be from the stock green glass
Having the a/c fan on 2 with recirc on is like winter time once it cools off. Keeps it way cooler when parked too

I meant the windshield if you were talking about my post. The sides look very illegal
