You still doing the training stuff? Just call in, and hang out at home with the family, I look for any reason these days to stay at the house
I hear ya. Yeah I still have the sticks of tubing and plate.

Not training, OPS support for FIN (Fix it now). A specialized maintenance group for emergent work. Dayshift 5-10's and I get to mess with more **** troubleshooting.

One issue is that if there is any ice, they'll close the roads then insurance won't cover anything if there is an accident.
Some people say there is night and day difference between a summer or all season, compared to a winter tire. I run two winter tires on the back of my truck, and I think they help, can't tell a huge difference, BUT it is a 2wd truck with an open diff. There isn't any weight in the back. I find putting weight in the back helps a lot. I usually shovel my box up with snow as I clear my sidewalks out front the house. Then when the snow is gone, I don't have to unload weight out of the back of the truck, it just melts.

I drive my 2wd silverado with a G80 daily in the winter. So far this year we've had over 40 inches of snow. I never have problems, never use sandbags. Personally I'd use the Tahoe. More weight over the *** end than my truck, otherwise sounds the same

Drive the Tahoe. Turn off the traction control! If you see a drift or any deeper snow, step on it and hope for the best haha. I sunk my truck a few times today...

I figured the Tahoe would be the choice over the V due to the weight and more narrow all-weather tires.

Well, we got 9.5" last night and it started snowing again! This is the most snow I've ever seen here. More than we got during the blizzard of 1993. I didn't even bother calling into work. I'm sure there wouldn't be anyone there to answer the phone in my office anyhow. We may do some site seeing in the CJ in a bit.

We got 5" here and a lot of people called into work. Probably the same storm you got. I wish we would have gotten 9".
