Started selling auto parts about 8yrs ago while I was in high school and never have found my way out of it. Began in the aftermarket and eventually made it to the dealership side. Been a fun ride but it can feel like I'm not using my full potential.

I'm the lead tech at a 4x4 and accessory shop. I went to UTI, got my degree, went to Mercedes Benz school, worked in the dealership setting for 2-3 years. Then relocated and been doing the lift kit gig for almost 9 years. I like it, but never have the funds or desire to work on my own stuff. Especially considering my thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of tools are at the shop and not at home. I'd like to change things up, especially if I could make more money. No idea what else to do though. Kinda invested in this career now . . .

I have been in tires and auto repair for most of the past 12 years. I worked my way up at my last job and was running the shop for just over a year and a half. Late last year i was talking with the owner about possibly becoming a salesman and got the oposite. Let go for no reason.

I am excited and hoping my new adventure is what was meant to come from being let go. I currently am doing the mechanical repair and fab work for a guy with a fleet of dump trucks. He bought the company 2 years ago and slowly is making chicken soup from chicken ****. He has basicaly made me a non-invested partner to help him grow. Once we get the show rolling this season I will spend more or all of my time in the office.
