Stone refinishing. Marble, limestone floor grinding, polishing, cleaning sealing. I also help my dad run the counter fabrication/installation and the tile installation part. Learning the ropes on the administrative side too. I own and operate a separate business that sells equipment and chemicals for the same industry.

Instrumentation Technician. I got my Journeyman Ticket about 5 years ago and made some pretty big changes over the last year. I was sick and tired of working for a dumbass company that always had their had hand out but really you saw nothing worth the effort in return. Sure I got paid very well...... but still. My first step was losing their company truck..... god I hated that b.s. GPS monitoring my speed and the whining about everything.... so I started running my own. Well they didn't pay enough.... and I still worked for idiots bleeding money and losing clients.

Started my own company, now have one contract employee and couldn't be happier. Way more money and should have done this move ages ago. Very little overhead in my business and the work is plentiful. I have a steady maintenance deal with one large oil company and I deal with heavy oil and steam generation now.
