Default what to do

i bought a ported ls6 oil pump on tech on april 15th but i still have not got the pump. the seller is keeping contact with me and has a great trader rating, im not ready to put the pump in so i dont absolutely need it right now but it has been almost 2 months since i paid for it and i still dont have it. he said he accidentally sent it to the wrong person (the other guy paid for a set of arp crank bolts i think), he filed a paypal dispute, made the seller refund his money but wont send the oil pump back.

should i:
A) just ask for my money back and buy one elsewhere
B) try to contact the guy that has the oil pump just to let him know he has the item i paid for
C) tell the seller to just send me the bolts (even though i dont have a use for them and try to sell them)
D) just wait to see if i get the oil pump i paid for

Why won't the guy send the pump back? what a douche.

I'd just see if he'll give you your money back and let you have first dibs if he ever gets the pump back.

the seller sent me a PM asking me to contact the guy with the pump and see if he'll send it to me if i pay shipping since the seller's paypal account is suspended. so even if i ask him to refund my money he wont be able to do it via paypal.

i want/need the pump but im tired of waiting for something i paid for almost 2 months ago that the seller doesnt even have in his possesion

If the guy wont send the seller back the pump, why in the hell would he send it to you?

I dont think you should have to bother with getting the pump from the other guy. Since he cannot paypal you the money, why doesnt he send a money order, personal check, or even some cash in the mail?

i have not asked him to refund my money yet. i dont think i should have to try to get the pump from the other guy and i refuse to pay for shipping again since shipping was included in what i already paid him. i will be able to buy another pump on tech for around the same amount i paid for the one i never got (i just did a quick search)

Send a mail bomb to the guy holding the pump hostage, and hire a hit for the seller to be beat up. After that has been completed, burn down the paypal building for not handling things the right way, once again.

In all seriousness, I would ask for my money back. If you don't get it, file a dispute. regardless if the guy won't send back the pump, the seller should have gotten the shipment right in the first place. People not taking responsibility for their actions is going to be the fall of this country.

By the way, I never posted this!

i understand you have a need for the pump.
you said 3 good points why you need to ask for a full refund.
A. tired of waiting for something i paid for.
B. seller doesnt even have in his possesion.
C. the sellers paypal account is suspended.

it is not your problem that seller sent your pump to the wrong address,
( if that happened ) but what kind of shady **** has been going on to get a paypal account suspended. ( warning flag )
since you have not asked this seams to me a little more info then you need to know unless he assumed you were going to after 2 months.
like already stated paypal is not the only way to transfer funds, and dont give me an excuse about one if your not willing to do the other.

as your friend may i suggest, go a head and get another pump just in case
this guy desides to beat around the bush about your refund.
