One thing that has been brought up, it depends on the location. I have had sprint for the last 4 or so years and have been pleased. It depends on the phone as well. With my old phone, I could never get a signal in my house, but the new one it have hasn't given me any problems anywhere.

I have Verizon for a few years now and so far so good. I get service just about anywhere. My work cell is Nextel, and I hate it...dropped calls all the time and alot of areas with no service.

I had Verizon from 1991 through 2003 but US Cellular came up with better plans and added enough towers that coverage has been good. I use call forwarding on my landline phone 24/7 so all my office calls go to the cell phone all the time. I gotta have good service, no interruptions, complete coverage, no dropped calls. Both Verizon and US Cellular are good in this area and in all the areas of Illinois I have traveled in.

Had Sprint but had to switch to Verizon when I bought my house because of coverage area. The best advice I can give is ask those who live/work around you.

I've had Verizon for almost 6 yrs. now. They ok, signal is pretty good. Service needs improvement. I've had a phone break under warranty and was told they don't have that model anymore and can't do anything for me!!! I got so pissed that I almost switched carriers, but the cost of cancelling($150) and then buying a new phone with another service($100-$200 for camera phone) was more than just buying another Verizon phone. So, I just bought a new Motorola camera phone for $189.99.
