I got my wife her 09 civic si earlier this year and we are both really happy with it. Im sure you will too. I just couldnt deal with the horribly underpowered ex's and the si's handled a lot better. The extra 60hp helps a lot too 
Yours getting 39 is pretty good. Id be interested to see what you actually get. Ours is rated at 29 hwy but I can get 32 with the cruise set on 75.
Take some more pics of the dash, Im interested to see how they changed it.
I think you made a good decision, some times its hard to make the sensable decision but that thing will serve you well for the life you have over the next few years.

Haha, you're getting ripped on good here! Any particular reason you went with an automatic quadraport instead of a 2 door stick? Or did you go with that one cause of the deal. No matter, just curious since it's pretty different from what you wanted a week or so ago. Can't go wrong with that car, and the dash is really cool. My sister had an 06, and she crashed it HARD. Broke the left front wheel right off. Not a scratch on her, her husband, or her dog though. Good cars.
