Don't kill the cat, just make it afraid of your yard and vehicles. Like spraying it with water or getting a dog. The idea of using a pitbull will only keep the pitbull stereotype going and will only make it more illegal to own one in your state.

Some of these things could get you arrested and have animal cruelty on your permanent record. So don't be a douchebag and just scare the animal. Every single angry, mistreated dog I've ever encountered was easily put in it's place by simply asserting myself, standing my ground and "barking" angrier and louder than them. None of them needed a good boot to the head that my instincts would have given them.

Just think about it and outsmart them. No need for acting like a complete sociopath.

Just hit them with the hose every time you see them up there. Water won't hurt them, but they sure the hell wont like it. Shouldn't take them very long to learn not to be around the cars.

Catch and haul off. We have a leash law inside our city limits so any animal seen on someone else's property legally can be shot. But my luck I would miss and hit a water line or something, if you tell them you felt threatned.
