If only they'd marketed it differently.

The problem was bland styling and $5k too much on the price tag. It looks like a larger version of a sunfire.

WTF? I like the GTO since chevy removed the camaro, this mean they have to make the camaro. So what is next on the chopping block for GM, the Corvette or the company doors.

I could see this killing any chances the Camaro had as far as coming back. Chances are they won't price it any less than what the Goats were goin for.

It's sad when the sport automotive market is mainly run by 4 door 4 cylinders and grocery hauling SUV's, this just adds to it. Does any auto maker currently have or have planned a sport minivan? After the death of the GTO, Ford needs to cancel the mustang and produce a SVT Explorer, the new trend will just about be complete after this.

I dunno. I don't like the direction things are heading.

No SVT trucks coming out ANY time soon.

What's up with the 07 Silvie SS? Still lookin to be a contender or not?

Hearing rumors of no more SRT10's, now will be SRT8's with the Hemi's. (Not sure on this one, just what I've been hearing)

GTO = Dead
Camaro = Who knows?
Mustangs = Well, the GT500, but they cut all the other specialty models from the plans

Yeah, Dodge has the market by the ***** right now, but what happens when all their competion goes **** up? You guys think they'll still pump em out if sales drop a little bit? If there's no one else in the market, I don't see how they'd be able to justify it. I guess I better figure out how to make my L run on E85, cuz that's where I see things heading.

No everyone needs to learn how to style cars around something the public wants. Dodge has alot of kickass rides in its line up right now. Thier new trucks look great, people buy them by the *** load even though they only get 11mpg. The 300c and the charger all good looking cars.

When the **** is GM gonna wake up and stop producing the crap that nobody like or want to be seen in

like this gem.

What gives come on this thing looks like an ugly hairy elephant and small mini van mated and out pops this piece.

The dumbasses at GM have thier heads so far up thier asses they will continue to make the above crap until they run the company into the ground.

I would really like a new camero but I have a feeling they will royaly screw it up just like the GTO who cares if it has 400 horses if its so bland that martha stewart cant even do anything for it.

couldnt say it better myself. you forgot to mention how chevy overcharges for their cars too. yeah they are dependable and long lasting blah blah but so are ford and dodge with more bang for buck. i never noticed how shitty the interrior and crappy the ride is until i rode in the new f150, hemis, titans, mustangs, etc etc. but then you still pay a tag above. chevy will screw up the camaro by putting a 35,000 price tag on it when they can sell it for 24-26000. then wander why nobody is buying them

I might be the only one who feels this way - but this is OUR (meaning GM performance guys) fault. When GM killed the f-body, we all screamed that a RWD 2 door performance car was needed. GM provided one with a world-class chassis and drivetrain, and beautiful interior. Fit and finish was above any other GM product with the exception of Cadillac. And how did the GM performance car buyer respond? By bitching that it was ugly (subjective) and too expensive (33K sticker is about average for a 'nice' car these days, and about what a Camaro SS or WS6 stickered at in 2002). I won't hold my breath for the new Camaro. If GM does produce it, unless it costs 15K and has 500hp, we'll complain about it until they cancell that one too.
