didn't even look at the list, but if Lawton is on it, I don't need to. That place should have a welcome sign that reads:

Welcome to DingleBerry, where we cling to the hair around a shithole!

But, Blake's Cruise in is kind of a neat place. thats it though.

I live in north ga about 45 min from atlanta. still a lot around but not super close to atlanta. If you want to live close to the city of course there is more to do but also more crime, traffic, etc around the city is where all the street racing action is. south and north. Also plenty of car shows, cruises, events, I live 20 min from road atlanta and 30 min the other way is atlanta dragway. there is also silver dollar about 1:45 min away to the south, al has steele which is about a hour, and there is tenn and the carolinas and a ton of 1/8 mi tracks in ga. I personally if you want to be in a good area with a lot to do to I would look at Cumming GA...I know I know. werid name but more upper class, nice houses, nice stores and movie theaters, I use to work over there and there was a lambo, R8 etc always sitting at the movies. there is also vengence racing in cumming(awesome LSX shop) there is a good ford shop in north ga (kurgan motorsports) and a few in kennesaw.

places to look
cumming
Buford( mall of ga area, nice, lanier islands is there etc)
flowery branch( next town over from buford one exit up)
Marietta

nicer places. Tell me what your looking for area wise, city or country and job and I'll tell you the best areas.

If the performance scene is important to you, Texas is the mecca of street cars. Just as strong of a car scene as Cali with less **** aftermarket laws. Texas is pretty hard to beat all around, I lived in Alabama for a year and that area of the country doesn't have **** on Texas. Nevermind the fact that we have the strongest economy in the US. Just my opinion, your results may vary.

Jeez, I'm a native NYer, lived in Cali for 2 major quakes, and make it through a few tropical depressions with epic flooding, and one 100+ mph hurricane and didn't leave my home in Alvin Texas . Would ya please grow a set, and tell me what is so bad? Not to mention NO STATE INCOME TAX.

How? Especially in reference to GA. Both states have hurricanes, both have hot weather, just depends on exactly what part of the state youre living in since it is a big state. Right by the coast there is a lot of humidity and is comparable to most other coastal states. Central Texas like I live in has less humidity, hurricanes are just tropical storms by the time they make it here, gets a little hotter than the coast but less humidity, dont have to worry about the snow like north Texas. North Texas has even less humidity and in general has better weather than the rest of Texas with the exception of during the winter where they get some snow and sleet but otherwise is pretty good.

If you can handle the heat Texas isnt bad, personally I kinda like being able to walk around in shorts for 10 months out of the year
