Upgrade time!!! Cell phone..

Android phones surpassed the value of Apple phones between the 4 and 4s. Apple has always taken pride in having seamless devices and their markup has been due to their advertising and marketing.
Android has continued to improve their software and their hardware has been better for several years now. You have much more capability with an android phone than with an Apple phone, and their ap support continues to grow as well.
Apple hasn't come out with anything innovative since the first version of the Iphone. They are no longer the cool phones to own, and their continued spiral downward is evident solely from their stock price which is down almost 40% from its 52-week high.
Get an iphone if you want simplicity. Get an android phone if you plan to use it more than just calling, texting, and playing Angry Birds.

A few simple reasons why I made the switch from Apple to Android
-Not confined to just one computer- I can drag and drop files from any computer I want. I use my phone like an external harddrive. I don't have to worry about only using my computer and having to use Itunes
-Removeable battery- I never plug my phone in. I bought a couple extra batteries and a wall charger for under $20. All I have to do is swap batteries out whenever one goes dead. The only time I plug my phone in is to add/remove media.
-Durability- If you look at an Iphone wrong the screen will crack. I can't you how many 4/4s phones I've seen with cracked front and back screens. The 5 is slightly better, but not much. Your only option is to buy an otterbox which makes the phone twice the size.
-Upgradable/Removable storage- All you need is a SD card and you can upgrade your storage significantly. There's no way to do that with the iphone short of swapping out the internal harddrive.

My Note II is the first phone Ive truly been happy with. It does everything well except keep a good signal while talking on the phone. Im pretty sure that's just from being on the shitty Sprint network. Ive got two 64gb memory cards I can load movies on and swap out and the camera is awesome on it. The stylus thing is useless, not quite sure why they made such a big deal about that but everything else works awesome.

I have had the S3 for a couple months now. i bought the extended battery its 4400 mah last about 2 days with me on it all the time (mostly playing games), I just saw they came out with a 7000 mah battery that fits in the same case. I only paid $19 for the 4400 and the 7000 is $35.

Well I activated the rugby at lunch time. This thing is awesome. Screen looks like HDTV compared to the 3gs.
Wayyyy faster too. It would take 10 seconds for my messages to open and forever for emails to open. 4G is sweet.

Galaxy S3. I jumped from a Motorola W385, lol. I should have had a smartphone ages ago but I just kept using my laptop for everything. Now I bought a new expensive custom built laptop..... and I don't use it hardly because of the S3. I mean it is nice to be able to remote into the control system at the plant I work at on my phone and all.
I looked at the Rugby but I chose the S3 with a case on it. Can't use it underwater, but that's okay lol.
