On lunch break coming from Wendy's with my food, a 4g Mitsubishi Eclipse drives by me flooring it while I was turning in the turning lane trying to get back to the work parking lot. So, I said uhh okay to myself while I was still in the median turning lane and decided to follow him. Got to the next red light up ahead and said hey man do you want to go race on the interstate? He was with his friend and he got pissed because I called him out I guess? He said **** you ****** leave me alone or something like that. I said, why am I a ****** I just wanted to see if you wanted to race. I said FU, then when he drove away he gave me the bird lol..

I really wanted to race this guy and get it on video to have some races to show you guys.. I guess his friend probably gave him a hard time, for pussying out.

It was an 06 - 09 at most 4g Mitsubishi Eclipse. It might of been an 09 with the V6 265 hp and 262 lb-ft torque. Sounded like he only had exhaust done to it. Had no turbo etc..

I know its not the fastest car, but I just really wanted to run him. From a 70 roll on the interstate I would have murdered him.

 

Man I woulda loved to see the race and the douchers' reaction after the *** whoopin he got.

 

I wouldof floored it past him lol.

 

I don't believe any of the 05 eclipse came from the factory with a turbo.

The 4G64 was the 2.4L 4 cyl in that model

The 4G63 is the 2.0L Turbo engine

 

I race a new v6 eclipse on the highway and it was a lot faster than I thought. He had a cai and exhaust but I only pulled a truck on him from 50-120. Not the truck in my sig. It's an 02 ecsb 224 cam, yank tt3000, bolt ons, ud pulley, efans and 4:56 gears.
But I did put almost 2 trucks on my buddies 96 vette from a dig to about 80 when we let off.

Those style sheclipses aren't anything to sneeze at. My friend had one and it was surprisingly quick. Had great midrange but not alot of top end.

 

Yep, mine does good from a roll kinda like your hoe, but I don't spray atm. The interstate would of been good for both of us and safer than from a dig in town at a redlight with tons of cars around..

 

I had a g35 more door pull that **** last night, and he turned into a neighborhood. Weird
