only thing worse is a motor swap alone. put it in one day, blow it up that day, out the next day all alone and on the ground. talk about sore. oh, and get this....when putting the motor in i forgot to put the Fudgin converter in and realized it once the trans was bolted up and i was guna tighten the converter bolts. what a stupid *** feeling lol. back apart it all came.

lol^ that sucks. I have had problems not stabbing the converter during a tranny swap before. I did my first solo motor swap, not too bad imo. I just worked on it a few hours a day, for a few days.

That how the second stage of my chassis swap with lol. but tryin to put a 6l, 80e, and turbo kit into an empty truck seems to be kicking my ***. Still have a lot of work to do.
Also, everytime i have swapped a motor its always been from a turbo motor, back to a NA. So other crap always seems to come up.

LOL! That is exactly how I removed mine one time. Had a piece of plywood on my chest, pulled the tranny off the dowl pins onto my chest and attempted to slowly slide it off onto the ground. Took a converter to the face to realize it was a bad idea.
