I'm not sure if they guy turned around or not but, I passed a State Trooper on the highway(4 lane both ways) going the opposite way the other day. I was traveling just a tad bit faster than the speed limit at the time 
and when I passed him I saw him hit his brakes so I'm thinking he was gonna try to hit the turn around area in the median that was just over the crest. There was an exit about 1/4 mile up the road so I hit it and took the long way home.
