I think I am at the end of the road with my truck.. I am sick of breaking parts and paying lots of $$$ to fix them. I am not a mechanic so it does cost.

I am thinking of pulling the motor and trans and putting a stock 5.3/4L65e combo in there. Possibly selling it for 15-16k, if I could get it of course. Only 50k on the odometer.

I am thinking about a 69 Camaro with my engine and trans... Maybe high 10's/low 11's???

 

id eventually like to do a 69' nova wit a 6.0/T56 swap. i think that would be bad ***. id say if you got something else to drive in the mean time go for it, that would be a sweet combo... only prob is 69 camaro your gonna pay out the *** for parts

I fight the same Bug sometimes but it is still nice to have the truck it does everything I haul alot of material for work in it. Its fast, looks good and its a good cruiser with A/C and the gas mileage isnt bad either so the Truck stays.
