Kyle, they run about $25K new from what I understand, not bad imo.
So I've narrowed it down to one of two cars. I'm gonna get either the VW Jetta Street Cup Edition as linked above..

Or the new Golf which looks like this...

the hatchback golf will be about $2k cheaper than the jetta wagon. one bonus of the wagon is a huge panoramic sunroof option.

I dont know if they new vws engines are designed anything like the ones in the mid to early 2000 s. My bud has one and when the waterpump goes out it doesnt leak it just quits pupming and overheats the motor so A+ on the engineering on that one.

Well, the Poll has spoken and I have delivered!

My new DD...
2011 Golf TDI Manual. 45mpg baby!! Sun-roof, blue-tooth, MMI connectivity, etc...









This little son of a bitch scoots too!! 240ft/tq on a car this small and this light with very sporty suspension makes for some really really fun drives around town!

Plans are few but:
I'm getting the windows tinted tomorrow,
Shop for some aftermarket wheels in the next few weeks,
Black out any chrome or plastics that isn't white,
Get a Curtis trailer hitch.
And maybe drop the car 1" all around.

Other than that this car is gonna stay the way it is! And its a ****** hoot right now!

Looks pretty nice for what it is. Would definitely be cool with some wheels and a drop.
