That doesn't make since to me.

I'm 20 filing 0 and 0 and deducted my tools, and church tithe, and car tag tax, and am getting back 1500.

You shouldn't owe anything unless your making a heck of a lot of money.

OH!! and my parents are claiming me because I was in school last year until I graduated. So I would get back a little more if not for them.

I'm going to take mine out of the bank as soon as it hits my savings account. I am going to find out where to buy precious metals. I am going to install a safe in an undisclosed location. I am going to put said metals that were purchased with my tax return in the safe and lock it. The government can't tax that. If I were to leave that money in my savings they would tax the interest earned on it. I for one..am tired of that bullshit. End Rant.

Last year I had about $5000 in deductions most of it was on tools.
I got close to $300 back on federal and I owed the state $40 VA.

I made more this year with less deduction and I'm hoping they don't rape me lol!!

I was just j/k with the kid, I just turned 23 and I really don't need one

I think the standard deduction(or atleast for GA so this may not apply to you) is like 5300. I had about $7800 in deductions this year.

Buy a house. Best thing ever. I had 14.5 in deductions this year...

Hell, I even wrote off the interest paid on the truck as a buisness expense.

If you do get a return you should use it to pay off credit card debt. Thats the best way to stick it to the banks
