Sunny Tires = Proxes? Help me pick the best tire damn it!

They arent a bad tire, but both sets of falkens I have had I went thru fairly quick, and they spin way to easy. You might not want them with the power you are making. Have you looked into the Nitto 420S, great tire, but dont know if they have your size.

I have owned and run 3 sets of performace tires from falken on performance cars 2 were laughable, the other set did pretty good.

I am starting to lean towards the Hankook Ventus ST RHO6 in 275/60R-17 108V. My current tires size is 285/60/17 so the overall diameter will be smaller by .5 inches while the profile will remain unchanged. Tire width is .2" less if i calculated correctly.

the width is actually .39 difference. 10.83 vs 11.22

hmm, it still might be ok...no? What about the tire, they do have them in 285 but I am thinking the -.5" will help me at the trap, and on my launch as well.
I guess the question is whether giving up a little footprint will be worth the gain from having a shorter tire?

i noticed a big difference in width going from 10.83 to 11.22. i dont know if you'll see a significant change with the half inch difference in diameter? it might actually make you spin more since you have so much torque.
