Thinking the 80e and boosting up to make up for loss in power. Yes the gears are going to hurt me more with 80e- good thing is I still have the gear set so I can switch back if needed.

For the cooler I bought it off summit racing. It originally was going under truck seeing the double CTS-v heat-exchangers take up so much room in front of radiator- that's why I went with pusher fan ( derale electra-cool remote cooler 13900 ). I wanted to run the tru - cool but couldn't find a good spot where it wouldnt pick up rocks up front being so low. I can add a picture in a while

can i ask why youre running 2 heat exchangers? i would just run one big heat exchanger, and that would give you room to mount your transcooler up front..maybe even go to a tru cool.. also if your cooler is mounted under the truck then its not getting enough airflow if i had to guess and the little it might be getting is getting blocked by the fan.

They came with the kit when I bought it- they are taking up the whole front area for sure. Got any good suggestions for replacing to a different unit? Yea then I could run a tru- cool up front

I do not know why I have not thought of this idea. I have a LQ9 sitting at my shop for my wife's 2005 crew cab. I could take out my current LM7 that is built for N/A and build up the LQ9 for my boosted truck. I just don't like the higher compression on it.

What are you guys think about running the LQ9?

What cam? Spec g?

That would help this turd out of the hole with the 80e

I would absolutely run the LQ9. Don't be scared of the compression. Mine ran like a bat out of hell with the 1900. That being said, your 5.3 can be made to scream with the 5.3 as well. Going back to 3.73's and an appropriate cam would make a big difference.

As far as a cam goes that depends on your goals and what kind of manners you would like out of it.
