well according to my wife it does every time she does not get her way.
me i built it and it works just fine, but we get
at times about it.
i guess for x-mass i will do a new build for her.
already made a shopping list on newegg.
core duo 6750 fsb 1333 at 2.6 ghz
gigbyte mother board
2 gigs of ddr 2 1066 memory
8600 gt card pcie 16
for just a little over 600.00
well according to my wife it does every time she does not get her way.

have you seen the prices on this stuff.
one of my friends on another forum built a bad *** gaming rig
for just over 400.
processor, mother board, memory, video card, hard drive,
power supply and dvd burner.
intel came out with the stuff too fast forcing prices way down.

While your at it you should get a U320 or U160 SCSI board and U320 or U160 15K RPM hard disk to clear up the IO bottle neck, cause all that processing power/speed is going to wait on the disk IO. I had a server class board in my old desktop w/ memory slots and it was blazing fast!!!!
