There's nothing wrong with lacquered cases.

I've put almost 2000 rounds of lacquered .223 from the Barnaul factory in Russia through my AR with not a single hiccup.

I'm sure it all shoots the same, but usually the milsurp lacquered rounds have corrosive primers, no?

Brown bear isn't milsurp.

Regardless, I usually clean the rifle right afterwards anyway.

This is the stuff you need to get Scott: http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/produc...acturers_id/19

I prefer their ammo to Wolf, personally.

That's absurd. That's really all there is to say about that.

Nobody should be expected to be plinking with hollow points.

That being said, Brown Bear does have hollow point rifle rounds. I know because I ended up with about 500 rounds of them. Teeny, tiny hole. No difference in price compared to FMJ.

No, they were .223, but I'm sure they have the same in 5.45.

Just search it.
