Wow.. Better make sure your new truck comes with seatbelts. I can almost guarantee you wouldn't have made it to the floorboard if it had em.

That aside I'm glad to see you're okay. Always sucks to lose a ride you really like. Thankfully they can be replaced!

 

On a more serious note. You hit that tree so hard it probably thought you were a Toyota.

ya i never wear a seatbelt starting too think i should now.

i dont know why it didnt go off. cause i knocked the **** out of that tree, and when i had a 04 truck few years ago i hit a deer at 80 and both of them went off. but hit a tree a hell of alot harder and they dont go off

I rolled an escape before I got my silverado and i'm DAMN GLAD I was wearing mine. I'da been tossed. The only injury I had was a small cut on my fingers from crawling out cuz of the broken glass.

You hear about injuries from seatbelts or people who said they are glad they weren't wearing one but those are very few exceptions. 99 out of 100 the seatbelt saves you.
