Ya, it's worse in The Great White North. Gas was at that price (in the picture) by the summer of 05. It's 4.98 for regular now, 5.36 for diesel. It sucks. I like driving as much as anyone, so I'm seriously considering buying a diesel truck and getting a job on an oil rig. Riggers don't pay for diesel, they get it from the rig. That's how I managed to score a 70 gallon slip tank half full of diesel the other day for $200 bucks! Bought it from a rig pig buddy

Kinda nuts how SUVs have been selling like gold for years now. Everyone wanted one and thought they needed one, kind of like the housing market.
I need a 3500sq foot house evn though I have 2.5 kids because I see all the rich people on TV doing it!

I beleive this glut of greed and I need one too philosphy has been part of the plan all along. It creates a false fall in the economoy at some point, a low in the economoy is the perfect opportunity for people with the means to jump in and buy cheap. Whether it's housing, stocks or commodities.

We are all being controlled to some extent and the only way to stay somewhat clear of it is to not buy into all of it. This is really hard when you see everyone around you doing just that but be smart and stay conservative and responsible with your money or you will fall victim like the rest of the sheep.
Advise varies from person to person because everone's situations are a little diffrent. as far as the gas prices go, what can you do?? Revolt? How many people would be on your side?? In the end we would not be fighting the rich, we would be fighting our own army, our own people.
Hopefully if it got to that point our soldiers would realize it and put down their guns or turn them on the real problem.

Enough Anarchy rant for today, it's still early.

It's bad when your fuel consumption just getting to work costs more than the truck payment.

Tis why I'm glad that I "pull" out, lol. I fell into the normal American way and hurt myself pretty good. I now have bad credit (don't care) but am within 6 months of being 90% debt free. I'm so sick and tired of owing money. My plan is to pay cash for everything that I can.
