I had the 3 out of 4 light up red thankfully they have that extended warranty for that problem. Just sent it out and less than 2 weeks later got it and works better than ever. PS3s are a little too expensive, just my .02.

 

I'm still waiting for my shipping label. If I couldve remembered my windows live account I could've told them I was gonna print it out online, but I told them to send me one in the mail.

 

they seem to have pretty much said that if ur 360 has a problem u get a new one free. i bought a brand new 360 from a guy(dont know where he got it didnt ask ?'s ) and 2 years later it got RROD. I filled out the form and sent it in they sent me a refurb unit within a month no questions asked...

 

Did you need your receipt or are they going based on your registration. I'm 90% sure I filled mine out cuz I get update emails from them.
I think mine might want to give up after tonight's incident.

 

That sucks. I just printed mine and sent it out the next day.

 

It's based on your serial number on the box. It doesn't matter if you bought it or not.

 

had that happen to me a year ago, got a new one within a few weeks. i was pretty surprised that they paid the shipping, at least there owning up to their screw up. had a ps2 crap out on me like a month out of warranty, turned me off from them since.

 

Sucks Scott, when I registered for repair I actually was going to have them ship me the label and box and do it that way. Somehow in the process, I accidentally chose the print my own label method.

In retrospect, I'm glad I did, had to pay the UPS store for a box, a few bucks, but like I said, mailed it on monday morning, had the system back in my hands by mid-day friday the same week.

 

Whelp. It finally gave up. Pisses me off.
I Just picked up a new 42" HDTV today because I wanted to play Forza2 but can't ever see the turns as well as I can in HD. Get to tv hooked up. watch a movie. figure i'll play some Forza2. and BOOOOOOOOOO red ring of death. can't get it to revive this time around.

Don't think my printer works tho so I'll have to get a label tomorrow at work I suppose.


BTW I have a Sticker type skin on mine. Did they send back your exact same unit or a completely different one?
