Plastic Air-less tires coming soon???

Sidewalls, that would make sense. Then you could air it up for load while still having run-flat capability. It still has a lot of weight, handling, and the one piece wheel/tire problems though. It would work for military and nonperformance vehicles.

i emailed someone at michelin about these a while back
they will not need air, nor will have sidewalls.
they have really good handling capabilities due to less flex since the whole tire is reinforced instead of just having sidewalls.
however they will come on a special type of wheel (cannot be interchanged with regular tires)
your car will have to come with them factory.. or fab up some wheels to fit your vehicle.
how much of this is true? i dunno but thats what a guy at michelin told me!
