Did anyone watch Pinks! on Speed channel last night? It was a turbo Civic (600hp) vs a Trans Am (built LT4 stroker, procharged, 630 hp with a 100 shot). Trans Am was whipping the Civic so bad the boy with the Civic was gettin 20 lengths in the 1/4!

Here's how it broke down:
Race 1: Civic gets 5 lengths, Trans Am runs without nitrous (T/A wins by 8)
Race 2: Civic gets 12 lengths, T/A w/o nitrous (T/A wins by 8)
Race 3: Civic gets 20 lengths, T/A w/o nitrous (Civic wins by 20)
Race 4: Civic gets 15 lengths, T/A w/o nitous and lost 2nd gear (Civic by 5)
Race 5: Civic gets 2 lengths, T/A with nitrous and lost 2nd gear (T/A by 8)

Basically, Civic got his a$$ whooped on by some domestic muscle! And the whole time the Civic boys were whining about their car being front wheel drive, claiming sabotage, yada yada yada....

When will they learn that there is no replacement for displacement! Don't bring a knife to a gunfight!

 

I saw it, they kept talking about representing Imports??? How is it representing anything when you cant run heads up with the other guy. If you get spotted 20 lengths and win, what have you accomplished??? Absolutely NOTHING!!!!!!!!

 

That civic had 600 hp?!?!?!! Yeah it didn't!!!!!!!! Looked like about a 13 second car at best. TA made him his little bitch. I'd have it on ebay faster than you can blink.

 

That has got to be the stupidest show ever.... The host is a moron.. Did anybody see the one on before the Domestic- Rice Showdown?? vette vs. nova.. now that was some racing.. the vette was bad ***.

 

why cant they stage up with lights? i saw one show where the car would preload and they called it jumping the gun! they ended up calling it a draw and everyone kept their titles because they wana have that deutsche bag up there waving his friggen arms

 

Yah i seen it last night that kid with the rice defenatly was a true fukin tool ricer, wanting a 20 car spot.. Thats not racing, then sayin sombody cut a turbo hose.. anyway i am sure glad the guy with the trans one that race.. They need to run head up wit a tree, now thats racing

 

I agree this actual race was pathetic from a good, competitive race point of view, but I loved the results!!! The Vette vs Nova was a better race, no question.

I wonder how many fast and furious hip hoppers had their bubble busted last night... I bet there's a lot of rice being sold today!

I saw that last night.
what a bunch a wussies.
give me 15, give me 20, give me 22.
take off the nos hoses on the pressure side of the blower.
remove the alky system.
cut your wires to the nos solenoids

how do we know you don't have a hidden nos system on their.
somebody cut my hose during the inspection.
lets remove the bumpers and lose 150 lbs .
I lost, not fair, they cheated,
i have to put my slicks on now.


the guy need to be replace by a tree.
they knew it was hopeless as soon as they seen the firebirds setup.
