damn dude i know how it feels to go like that last summer i fell over and quit breathing by the time they got me back around and in the ambulance my blood sugar was 0.3 so your not only one battling hypoglycemia

Man, that sucks. Hope you get better soon.
BTW, hate to be the one to say it but I bet they were acting well within policy. If you were that out of it that you tried to fight them they had no choice but to subdue you to protect you, your parents, and themselves.

That sucks to hear. But in there defense. I'm a paramedic and have had some diabetics get quite physical with me ( had one guy last week try kicking my *** ). Unfortunetly when they do get out of hand we have to do what is necessary to keep not only our selfs safe but u safe as well. Now I have never had to go thr extent of breaking someones arm but pending on how physical u get determines how much force we have to apply. Also pending on how old u r, if u r over 18 it does not matter what ur parents want or tell the paramedics to do. They have to act in "ur best intrest". And that is apply thr necessary force to control u and get some sugar in u to reverse the hypoglycemia. However it does seem like the force they used was alittle in excess but then again I wasn't there so I don't know. Again sorry to hear what happened and hope u have a fast recovery.
