theyre making this much profit because of the millions and millions of dollars they invested in the 80s.
The price increases are from the NY stock exchange, not the oil companies. If we say we'll pay 110 a barrel, China says theyll pay 115 for the same barrel, then we say we'll pay 120, and so on. Thats at least what ive gotten out of all the gas price threads ive read

My only concern with Hydrogen power. Whether it be Hydrogen power cars or hydrogen plants. Is the effect it could have on the weather. If you have a bunch of hydrogen cars driving around your increasing the ammount of moisture in the air and more possibilities for climate changes.

I'll poke a hole in your Hydrogen theory real quick just to be a dick'
while hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe, Nowhere on earth does it exist in a pure state. It is always bonded with another element, Mostly water, BUT hydrogen cracking requires the use of LOTS of electricity (fossil fuels) and lots of Hydrocarbons(FOSSIL FUELS) and actually produces TONS of greenhouse gases all to seperate the Hydrogen and Oxygen.
Thats why Oil Companies are behind Hydrogen so much
