Met a bud on the lake this weekend,
Has a Baja 29 sst, with 2- 502's 415 hp each. what a freakin rig.
I've got an old Arriva, 23' with 330 hp 454 which works good but this thing absolutely kills mine in every respect especially out of the hole. I guess twins really get out of the hole good plus it does 80mph.
Only problem of course is fuel, cost about 100 bills to run wot up and down a
15 mile lake.
Regardles, what an incredible piece of gearhead machinery, it has switchable exhaust as well and make sounds to die for.
It's long, thin and white and I told him it looks like a big ***** which he saw the humour in. It's for sale and although I might afford the boat I would gringe at the operating cost.

As bad as i want one of those, I have realised they are good for only two things. Pu$$y and burning gas, oh yea and a third PU$$Y

 

i would like to try and pick up a 35 to 38 ft baja or fountain in the next year or two

 

only 415 each? weak for that many cubes! throw a blower on each one and then you are talking! i'm sure it's still an interesting ride though!

 

most 454's with blowers are only about 400hp in boats. But thats prop ho. I guess thats kinda like rwhp only less because H20 is so damn stubborn when you try to compress it.

 

they are stock 502 mercruiser's, don't know if they measure crankshaft or propshaft power for marine stuff.
