You guys gotta step out of the American pride bubble and look at it. If he is dead I'm glad, 9/11 was terrible and I personally think the ****** needs to be publicly lynched instead of just shot. I'm not one of those conspiracy theorist idiots but it just seems suspicious.
Next year is an election year, Obama's ratings are in the *******. Pulling out of Afghanistan without "finishing the job" would have pissed everyone off. Obama is on record saying the US will not be going to Libya because the military is currently spread to thin. So it's a win-win-win. Obama gets Osama, they can pull out of Afghanistan. Oh and suddenly there's resources to go somewhere else.

EDIT - Today is also election day in Canada, our current PM extended the Canadian mission in Afghanistan to avoid not finishing the job. He's running again.

I would have prefferred they parade him around in a clown suit while crowds thrown stones at him like the Peruvian government did to the shining path leader in the 90s. The best way to avoid making him a matyr is removal all credibility and this auroa he has of a more-than-man type image.
