Absolutely!!! I drive that EXACT spot in NJ on my way to work every day. I'd say about 90% of the a-holes that drive in the "fast lane" are out of state plates (mostly NY). I used to get so pissed off but I found a better way to address the issue. I eventually get around the driver, get in front of him and slow to his speed. I then proceed to "wash" my windows with the wiper fluid...usually the entire washer fluid tank. If anyone knows this trick, you would understand that the car behind you gets drenched. This works especially well with convertables and really shined up cars. I typically put my window down and point over to the "slow lanes" after the drenching. The lady drivers get especially pissed.

Krambo,

I have to agree NY drivers are the worst, and I have NY plates on my vehicle. I like the windshield washer trick. Lol

Krambo,

Its amazing how amazing how bad a little washer fluid pisses people off behind you isn't it? I've used that tactic and its always fun to watch the faces in the rear view mirror. LOL.

That's awesome. I guess their cameras don't turn on with the overheads.

I have noticed this also.. Seems to me the worst drivers ever are from PA, NY and VA.. Some MD drivers arn't daisies but the 3 I mentioned, are unreal.. I pull the same thing, get in front and slow down.. Sometimes the simple **** will slow down with me, most of the time they will try to go around, then I just pace up with them, to keep them in the right lane.. Another thing I DESPISE is people who run that merge/yield lane all the way out, try to sneak in, when there are open areas well before the end to merge in.. If your that guy trying to sneak in, I am that guy that your trying to sneak.. Not gonna happen..

Hahaha, same boat here too. I always leave some room in front of me to bait them when I see someone being sneaky

I once had a guy doing 60 in the left lane on a 4 lane highway (2 on each side). It was night time, and hardly any traffic, but everyone drives 70+, speed limit is 65. Well people were coming up on the guy in the left lane, and this dude does NOT get over, people allllll over his ***. Well they go around him cutting him off as they pass him, yet he still is there in the left lane. So I decided once traffic cleared going around him, that I was going to have an experiment.

I pulled in front of him and let off the gas and let it coast for probably at least a mile. Went from 65mph down to 35ish, this ************ was STILL behind me, wasn't honking or flashing his brights. He even kept his distance back behind me. Once it hit 35 I was done and sped back up to the speed limit and made my way back home. I couldn't believe it.

THAT WAS YOU??? God I was pissed. My truck kept pulling to the left, and I didn't want to be in the right lane, plus I was driving to the repair shop so they could fix my horn and dimmer switch. j/K
