Ok now I'm about a year from paying off my truck. Depending on how many extra payments I feel like making. Anyways I took it in about a month ago for a recall. Now the stealership keeps sending me "exclusive offers" on a new truck, car, van, etc. So I talk to one of the salesmen, just because I was curious. He offered me "below employee pricing and I'll still get the $1500 taken off on top of that or 0% apr financing"

Anyone happen to know what the percentage is for the gm employee discount?

Also I was looking at a 1500HD 2wd. But the dealership only has 4wd's on the lot. I've been pretty successful with talking down the price on vehicles when they're sitting on the lot, I dont know how it works if I have to get one sent from another dealership or from GM. Thanks for any and all advice.

 

i think the employee discount is about 18% give or take a few... my stepmom has it and we dont buy new anyways, cuz it is still cheaper to buy a 1-2 year old vehicle
