Well few months ago I sold the 2011 sierra to get back my 2011 Camaro SS/RS, unfortunantly I was stuck with my shitty old Jetta for a DD and had no truck! First time ever without a truck since I could drive, so I had to fix it
Well I bought this a few months ago, nbs, 2001 Duramax LB7, 4x4, ZF6 6 speed manual, only 180,000km (110,000 miles)
Day I got her home

After I got it fixed up

When I got her she was pumping fuel into the crankcase and out the rear main seal, the owner (farmer) didnt have the time or interest in fixing it, and actually didnt know what was wrong. So I payed $2000 bucks for it, threw a set of bosch reman injectors for $1300, front brake rotors, and 1 caliper and been DDing her ever since!
The plans, nothing to crazy, but I bought a fuel tank from a lb7 extended cab short box, front spring perches, and currently looking for a good condition short box, then shes getting
into a rcsb! Once the body work is done Im getting the whole truck lineX summit white, with black stripes to match the camaro, white lineX will be on the grille, mirrors etc, currently building some bumpers for it which will probably be lineX as well. Eventually she will get a solid axle swap. Currently have a bunch of 5'' exhaust pipe and a magnaflow downpipe to wake her up a bit.....oh and definitely a set of tow mirrors!
Should make for a nice dd/toy hauler! What do you guys think
Old pic of the Camaro for stripe reference, see the old silverado there too

Lol come on now, besides injector issues there pretty bullet proof, and I got new injectors so no worries!
Its definitely a work in progress, with the things I have planned visually it should be on par or better looking then my previous trucks! Has a small bit of rust on the passenger side cab corner and drivers side rocker, which I cut out here before to long.
Thanks man! I thought I did well! Everyone here says I stole it from him lol but thats what I hear about the zf6, luckily for me it has a brand new clutch!
Those are the first things to go! Not only are they ugly they simply suck! Hard to see anything and I got huge blind spots
They got the lineX extra that will not fade or turn colour, its probably just clear coat over the normal stuff like you suggested lol
