Learning W7 is going to take some time. I like to turn off all unecessary services and remove any BS from the task bar, desktop etc....Shannon, you know the software well enough to give me a services list?

it's already been 'optimized' (free to me) but still the tray is full of running services and there's some floating 'dock' thingy i haven't figured out because the GeekSquad forgot to put the power cord back in the box and the battery is getting low....

hit PRT SCR on the keyboard and paste it into paint.... then send me the .jpg image
So i can see what it is
